Thank you... I HATE that lamp. I have tried to make it disappear more than once but my girlfriend knows I hate it so I can't "Accidently" break it.

Have you tried draping some black cloth over it or perhaps some cobwebs. It would give it more of a Halloween feel.

I will try that, I also have an all black cat that lets me hold her for hours at a time.. She came in VERY useful last year.
