It's a very refreshing drink though, especially in the summer months!

Re: Check Out My "New"...
... sorry to disappoint, but it's not bloody likely I'll use it to open any bottles or cans of beer... though, I am somewhat inclined to use it to shave one of my cats... I doubt that will happen either as cats do not hold still and I'd rather not get all scratched up. =)

Re: Check Out My "New"...
My husband loves hard cider. There is a brand over here called Woodchuck. It is made in Vermont, and they have different ciders at different times--apple, raspberry, pear, and various seasonal ones with different flavorings. I like the pear best because it isn't as sharp as the others, but my husband loves the Granny Smith (apple) best. Ciders taste a lot like the fruit that is used to make them. Basically fermented fruit juice, I'd say.
I actually prefer my cider non-alcoholic--simmered in a crock pot with spices. I love the kind with the pulp in it.

I like pear cider too. There's lots of different cider over here. You can get some really hard, rough, strong cider. I've never been a big fan of that kind of cider though. I really love Magners!
