What do you like to decorate with? That bucket of blood?

Spiders webs.

Post by bigjack » Sun Jun 05, 2011 5:07 am

Anyone know where I can pick up a web gun?
(mentioned here: http://halloweenerrific.co.uk/halloween ... r-webs-diy)

I would love to have spiders webs like those you see in the movies this year.
Otherwise I'm just going to have to find a bunch of spiders in my garden and hope that 4 months is long enough for them to decorate the place for me! :)

Spookymufu built a few last year and was selling them pretty much for the cost of parts and shipping, I think (well, he's a Capitalist, so maybe a few bucks over cost  ). You may want to check with him.

yes I was making them and selling (for a few bucks over cost) but still cheaper then normal retail, but I dont have any more to sell and unfortunately I dont have anywhere to build them now either.....Sorry. But they are great and work very well.

I dont know anyone else making the same type as the ones I made, but you can get hot glue web guns all over the place, they work okay but you have to have a air compressor, the hot glue web guns run about $45

That URL looks like you're in the UK?? I've heard it's difficult to get Halloween there... There's a site here that ships to the UK... but they still charge the import tax/duty:
http://www.mostlydead.co.uk/pages.php?C ... =EUR&pID=4

I do know that the Spirit stores in the states carry webcaster guns...
http://www.spirithalloween.com/product/ ... erweb-gun/
However, I'm not sure about the quality of the gun or the ease of use of the item.

Looks just like a glue-gun with an air-compressor attachment... might be cheaper to just do-it-yourself (DIY) and make your own...

EDIT: I guess i could mention I did NOT sell the hot glue gun style, mine made much more realistic webs

you can see them in this pic, but I went real lite on the webs here
