How come at the end of Return of the Jedi we see, Obi Wan, Anikin Skywalker and Yoda in their etheral forms and Anikin is young again, but Obi Wan and Yoda are old?

I think we should start a boycott, Million Man March and letter writing campaign....and if need be contemplate using terminal executive action against George Lucas.

We NEVER saw Mark Hamil (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back doesn't count) or Carrie Fisher (Scream 3 doesn't count) after the series ended, and I know you agree that we can't let this happen to Ewan McGregor.

What does a young Yoda look like?

Let our voices be as one!

Too late to go after George. It's Disney you want to take on now, and that's a big mouse to tackle.

Actually, if I remember correctly, in the original RotJ Anikin/DV was an old man in his ethereal form. It wasn't till after the second trilogy that they replaced that footage with the one showing Hayden Christensen.

On a related note, rumor is that Harrison Ford may be returning as Han Solo in the next movie. I just hope if Carrie Fisher returns they don't put her back in her slave Leia garb. [Shiver!!!]

I imagine Yoda was like Benjamin Buttons, as he got older he looked younger.

Amen brother...as a dad to three kids this just sank and broke my heart...why do crazy people feel the need to kill other people? If you are crazy and messed up take your own life...that's sad but it is your desicion....these were small kids and good people...WTF??

Yes, it was a slaughter of the innocents. Almost Biblical. And terrifying to any parent with kids of any age in the school systems.

Midnight Shadow, my husband and I have often wondered that very thing when stuff like this happens--why do so many of these deranged people feel they have to take others out with them?

They need for to get the attention they feel society did not give them. Sensational news coverage of these killers and the murders only molds the next batch of killers. No news coverage and we would see decline in the murders like this. For once in there life they figure they will be important even if it is negative by kill kids. I watch society in decline rather than ascent and although the USA is still a great country it is also broken in many ways. :|

Chang, I believe you are onto something about the media coverage fueling more of these atrocities. It is my personal belief also that the political leaders are trying to use this most recent horror to push for legislation curtailing Second Amendment rights, so the media coverage is useful to them. It keeps public emotions stirred up. I believe there are certain parties who want to ban guns, not really for our protection, but so the government can control us. They use any tragedy to stir up emotions against guns. My personal opinion, of course. YMMV.

I never own a gun and never want one. I see these murders glorified on the television and internet news sites. They say the killers were isolated and attention starved then they do horrible event like CT school shooting and they get attention nonstop for a week. Yeah they are dead usually from suicide but they know the world will remember them for something. This is very basic psychology where news media gives them exactly what they want so others who want the attention decide to do it and it continues to happen. The next killer is watching the coverage of the CT and is jealous of all the attention that killer is getting. See the cycle? :?
