Ray Bradbury 1920-2012

Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

Dang! Why do people have to die so young? I used to see him back in the day at Comic-con, when he was younger and regular joes like me could still get tickets to the event. Maybe I'll view 'The Halloween Tree' tonight in his honor.

I'll have to rent that again sometime. I loved that movie as a kid.

Oh, I missed this announcement yesterday!

I heard Ray Bradbury speak at the Univ. of Richmond when I taught there in the late '80s. He was very impressive. He & Walt Disney were friends. They dreamed up Disney World together. Such a positive, energetic man.

I bought the complete series of Ray Bradbury Theatre on DVD for a great price. All 80 plus episodes.

Love that program.

Ray Bradbury will really be missed.

Yes, spirits like his are always greatly missed. I hope he is having a terrific time in the Great Beyond as we speak.
