Well, I enjoyed my holiday season, but I have an agenda of things I want to accomplish this year, so I am OK with getting on with things. I am amazed (and somewhat alarmed) that the "New Year" is already 10 days "gone." Time in general is moving way too fast! The first month is one-third over already!

I'll miss the paycheck bump we got over the holiday season but I hate the holidays so I'm happy they are over.

Well, you know the old saying: "Time flies when you're having fun." Well I had fun with my brothers and sisters on Christmas Day, but for the most part I had a very relaxing Christmas Vacation. It's the Post Christmas Winter season that gets me down the most. Luckily there's "Little Halloween" this friday and a few inteeresting photo shoots to aleviate the boredom.

I am soooo looking forward to this new year. Like alot of people, I didn't have the best year in history for 2011 (or 2010 for that matter), so even though I am sad that the holidays are over, I anticipate a much better year!

Well, let's see now.......In 2010, I got a brand new Mercury Milan, and in 2011 I got a used but really nice Harley Davidson....I think both 2010 and 2011 were pretty darn good for me. And as I said before, I am looking forward to observing "Little Halloween" this Friday, but I will be glad when the Post Christmas Winter season is over. Usualy things start looking up for me in March.
Oh yeah, I forgot. In 2009 I got that new camera. A Cannon 5 D Mark II.

I think I'm just looking forward to warmer weather. It's sunny right now but it's only 32 degrees. Even with my space heater on under my desk, I'm freezing!

Well, last Saturday I was cruising around on my Harley, and the temps though a little chilly were well above freezing. Today there's 6 inches of snow on the ground, the temp is only going up to about 15 degrees, and tonight it's supposed to get down to 4 above.
I wish it was Spring time, too.

Screw springtime. We had about a month of chilly weather in Nov & Dec and it's been in the 70's and 80's since. Boo hiss. Sorry but I love my cool temps and my fireplace. Seems like it's summer from April to November here.

Oh, yeah, I see you are in LA. You wouldn't get much cold weather there.
However, my cousins, who have spent there whole lives in southern Cal, go to the mountains when they want to see snow.

That's how I prefer it. Just talked to my buddy who lives in Mammoth. He said it dropped to 15° last night. No precipitation though. The ski resort is making it's own snow so only half the ski lifts are open. We got some rain today so hopefully they got some powder up there.
