Saw this in my driveway last night...
It was about as big as my hand
I got a few good pics before I killed it. That was my first scare of the year. Needless to say I'm not going outside barefoot again anytime soon.

RAID
We have a ton of smaller garden spiders all around the house so we bought the spray for when they stray inside. As soon as I started spraying it the thing ran at me. Maybe not on purpose, but I felt like it was. The sucker was fast. I probably looked crazy to the neighbors running from it and spraying it at the same time.
I posted the pic on a spider forum and one of the experts identified it as a female wolf spider. He said their eyes are super reflective hence the "cyclops" look. I guess they're venomous, but not lethal. My spider props aren't gonna look quite as cool come Halloween after seeing that thing.

That thing is HUGE! I remember the giant white moth that was flying outside my window one night.

When I was kid I stepped on a black and yellow spider, then there were a lot of baby spiders running out of its mother spider!
