Actually I'd prefer to have myself freeze-dried instead of cremated. Of course that might pose many problems for my family but hey, they have a good sense of humor.

I have a neighbor who did that with their dog. And they stuck it out on the front porch. Eventually they buried it but now put the wrappings out which have the shape of the dog.

I'm not sure but I think they just cut the back of the wrappings open (or had a taxidermist do it).
