Everything is good in its season.
Too much water drowned the miller.

I think mayhaps the author is implying that there is such a thing as too much Halloween.

Well this is a Halloween forum, we do talk about other things, and I am enjoying myself, so I don't think we're having too much of a good thing. We're just talking about a topic that we all love. Halloween.

What in heaven's name was the miller doing down by the creek anyway? Shouldn't he have been at his mill stone? Honestly... if he wasn't slacking off, he wouldn't have drown. Idle hands do the Devil's work.

"Too many sacks are the death of the 'donkey'. "

Watch how many sacks you're carrying, enulpadlolorp...

TO EACH HIS OWN. That's my favorite cliche and my favorite philosophy. Simple, clear, and easy to write.

It's true, we do talk about other things besides just Halloween.
But we can't help Halloween is such a great holiday that it deserves recognition all year round!
Well...I think a lot of the reason I'm here is that I just really like the people here. I'm also very easily impressionable so I think the Halloween spirit kind of rubbed off.

I mean honestly? This is kind of the wrong form to even suggest to someone they should only like Halloween in moderation.

Indeed. I think it's that guy from Saudi Arabia that was trying to spread his religion, he made multiple accounts during the Spammer Crisis. But, in regards to that post he made on this thread...

THIS IS MADNESS!

True.

It's as if you went to a radio controlled car site and all you posted were tips on trout fishing.

There are many people who like to plan for Christmas a whole year in advance. My late brother Jack, God rest his soul, and his wife were as passionate about Christmas as I am about Halloween. The both wold be in all the stores 'after Christmas' sales looking for bargains on lights, ornaments, decorations and what-not becuae that ws their passion. We like Halloween, and like to plan for it all year around. It's not a "fixation," or an "Obsession." It's for me, the most fun day of the year, something that people of all ages, from toddler to grand parent, can enjoy for various reasons. What's the crime?
