miss me? haha anyways what happened to everyone? Jeez im gone for 4 months or so and poof gone. hmm can anyone tell me what happened please?

Well it's great that you're back. I imagine a lot of the patrons of this site only come here in October, but I enjoy a little Halloween year round, so I'm here all the time.

After Halloween some people left till next year. And some drop by once in a while. I said I was leaving till next year but I couldn't!

I'm actually glad I found this site now! It gives me a chance to read through everything and meet the true, die-hard Halloween fans!

I'm actually surprised that I'm sticking around. I think it's because I enjoy the people here...and my obsession with Halloween is greater than I thought!
I'm already excited for next Halloween and it's only March! Geesh. I hate rushing the holidays, and with St Pattys, Easter, Fourth of July to consider...one would think it's too early to be thinking about ghosts and ghouls.
Perhaps the Halloween spirit of this board rubbed off on me, or maybe it's my growing obsession with werewolves and vampires...maybe it's the idea that my house is haunted with my grandfather's spirit...or even the ghost stories that I've experienced.
Let's not forget, Halloween seems like the ONLY holiday that really recognizes cats.
And I love skulls and spooky things.
Halloween is such a fun holiday, I don't understand people who don't like it. And for people who think it's demonic, I say that's hogwash!

I can't blame them for thinking it's evil. Halloween is about demons and death. But people like Jack Chick take it too far and have the facts all wrong.

Sadly, there will always be fanatics. Religious, sports, physical, monetary, etc. Just a part of live. Best not to give them the attention they're so desperately clamouring for.

I love Halloween, and a lot of people think I'm weird because of it. My aunt is crazy about Christmas and has at least a dozen terribly gaudy sweaters to prove it. I'm fine with people having fun and finding things in live they can enjoy. Just so long as they don't try and tell me my passions are wrong and I should embrace theirs.

I think people like Jack Chick are sad and weak-minded. I can't imagine the amount of fear and insecurity that pushes him to continually bash people over the head with his fundamentalist views. Just scary.

Sorry, I am realizing that these posts have taken a severe turn from the ligt-hearted beginnings of this thread.

Halloween_girl, sorry for the prior rant. While I am new to this forum, it is wonderful to have people who truly enjoy Halloween around. Glad you have returned.

That's how I am, too. Halloween is my favorite day of the year. This site is also a lot of fun to visit, too.
