Oh, no. You worked hard to do a good deed, and it backfired on you! That's so sad.

I have a problem with pests. As I think I've mentioned before, especially when it comes to pumpkins and other squash, something comes along in the night and eats the blossoms. No blossoms, no fruit. And last year I left my little tomato seedlings, covered, in the carport, and something (an insect I guess, since the cover was never removed), came along and ate them all.
