There's a hotdog joint here called "Chicago on a Bun" that makes potato chips as you order them. They slice them up right there and I think they do some kind of hot air process to cook them. They come out light and crispy without a hint of oil. You choose the seasoning and how much salt. Hmmmm.... think I'm gonna stop in next time I'm in that part of town.

that place does sound pretty cool! i haven't heard of any where that makes their own potato chips!
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

That sounds good. Potatos are also good for you, and a great source of potassium. It's when you fry them in fat, when they become bad for you.

When I do baked potatos, that's exactly the way I do them. When I have my St. Patricks Day party, I serve baked potatos cooked on the grill for a total of 2 hours, 1 hour then flip them over. It does them right to a T. Then I load up the sour cream, butter and chives.

But potato chips are a whole other matter. I don't think you can cook them on the grill.

:oop: My favorite snack is Chex Mix "Bold Party Blend", it's good! You should try it, but if you've already tried it before then ohh well.

Of course, I love Gardetto's Italian snacks! :D

I like roasted cashews, with natural sea salt and black pepper.

I tried those spicey Chetos. They're way too hot for me. In fact, I had to go through a whole 1 litre bottle of Aquifina just to get the fire in my mouth out.

No thanks. Regular Chetos for me.

Mike, next time you have food thats too hot, dont drink water, water spreads the oils around and actually makes it worse, drink milk, it neutralizes the oils and kills the heat.....if you have a creamsicle, thats even better
