I get what your saying Adrian, but isnt that the reverse of what Mike is complaining about from his brother? I mean, Mikes whole thing is he doesnt want people to force their beliefs on him (and I dont either, I agree with almost everything he's said on this point) but forcing his brother to believe is doing the same thing in reverse.....I agree with NeverMore in this case.......blue dye and call it a day.adrian wrote:well mike... as far as he's concerned... as a christian i'd feel obligated to try my BEST to show him that there is a God.. if it were my brother... i'd try until the day i die to get him to go to heaven with me

Re: What made you mad today?
no...not force... i tend to be very tongue in cheek on the threads lol sorry... as a christian (self speaking) i feel, because of my beliefs, that i should spread the word... not force an oopinion on them but just kinda find ways to reveal the light sort of speak...
a lot of christians though do force their veiws and beliefs on others and its given the ministry a bad name... its hard to explain on here without actually diving into a religious discussion so i guess i'll just leave it at that lol Pumpkin man and i usually some how fall into religion when we start chatting lol sorry guys

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Re: What made you mad today?
Spooky, when it comes to the brother who I was reffering to, you can hardly get a word in edge wise. I do try to set an example, and I pray for all of my loved ones every day. I pray the Rosary twice a day, and the Chaplet of Devine Mercy once every day. I also very much believe that God is going to grant me a miracle, and we will all be united in His kingdom.
I will not, however, scream my religion at him, and tell him that he's going to hell if he does not straighten up and fly right, because to do so would constitute two sins inone blow. First, I would be judging my brother. 2nd, I would be presuming to know the mind of God. both of those sins in and of themselvs are mortal by nature.
I try to get the Christian message across 1st by REFUSING to waver in my convicaitons. 2ndly, by observing TRADITION in my everyday life, especialy during religious holidays. 3rd by trying to be as kind to my fellow man, even when he angers me, as I can be. And most importantly, I pray, every day and attend Holy Mass ever Sunday, as many holy days of obligation as I can, and on all important religious feasts. (i.e. Easter, Good Friday, Holy Thursday, All saints Day, etc.)
I dont' want to change this into a religious discussion, the above was only to point out, that I do NOT try to force anyone to embrace Catholic beliefs. I can try to save my brothers and sisters by praying, without alienating them. I only wish that my non believing siblings would show me the same consideration.
Nuff said on religion.

Re: What made you mad today?
Well, last night I got so mad because my computer was down for a very few hours because of the technical problems. I wasn't online from 6pm until 9pm.
My internet and media player could not connect to my web service because the call was not answered. And it was unable to connect due to a couple of reasons:
Try connecting to my computer later, there may be a problem with the service right now.
And, it was shown "You may need to dial a number, such as 9, to make calls on your phone line. This number is called a dialing prefix. To specify a dialing prefix, choose "Settings".
So I called my telephone company to see what was going on, there were some technical problems as same thing some people are getting similar problems like mine. But right now it is working fine so far.

Re: What made you mad today?
You're still using a DIAL UP service, iHaunt??? I woudl rather have a HEAD COLD then a dial-up internet service. No kidding, dial up internet has all but disappeared in my neck of the woods, and for good reason.
My first Internet service, Prodigy, was a dial up, as was AOL when I had it. both STUNK, both constantly booted me off the web when I was right in the middle of typing an e-mail, and when I first started with it, I got some HUGE phone bills because I was paying by the mi nute at long distance rates. As soon as my cable company started offering high speed, I grabed it up in a hurry.

Mike, to answer to your question. Yes I am still using the dial-up service. But my company already offered me to get high speed connection for only free of charge! Well, should I get it or what? I think it's best way for me to se high speed connection, isn't it?
