To All: I am Sorry.

I want to apologize to every single member here for my posts yesterday. I am not apologizing for what I believe or what I feel though. Because of the events of the last 24 hours, this will be my last post here.

I had a extremely difficult time sleeping last night. I mean like I used to have all the time before I got the CPAP machine for my sleep apnea. I went to bed at 9:30 like I usually do, but could not get to sleep until after 1:00 am and was restless until I woke up the final time at 3:50 am. I normally get up about 5:15 am. While I often wake up early without being able to get back to sleep, it is even more of a problem when I don't get to sleep right away.

I think my allergies started to kick in, making it hard for me to sleep. The problem was compounded, however, because every time I woke up I kept focusing and obsessing about what was posted by me and others and what i should post or do next. This has happened before on other boards.

To Mac: This is one of the main reasons I had been avoiding this board. I usually do not stick with message boards for very long for this reason. There is an Alice Cooper site I have been at for three years now with no problems. And you would not believe how heated it gets there. It puts anything here to shame. And believe it or not, I have to been involved in any of the very hotly contested debates there.

Also Mac, I want to sincerely apologize to you if my tone seemed harsh towards you at all,. While I probably disagree with you on almost everything and we could never hang out together (trust me), I wish you no ill will at all. Even if you never took anything personal, I still apologize.

I will probably only come back a few times to see the responses, if any,to my Alice Cooper thread.

If you think this is best then good luck to you as well, but I think you underestimate the thickness of the skin of us die-hard haunters.

I didnt see anything in your posts to warrant leaving the forum, I didnt think you said anything that bad. I'm sure Mac would have said something if it bothered him that much but I think he and I have exchanged worse at one point or two....

Wow, mate. I'm very sorry you lost sleep over it, because I really wasn't offended at all by anything you said. In fact, I'm interested in politics partly because I care deeply about policy issues, but also because I love the back and forth of debate, having my views challenged, and trying to present arguments for or against opinions I agree or disagree with. If it helps you rest easier, I completely accept your apology, and appreciate the sentiment and concern you had that you might have given offense, even though I hope I've made it clear that absolutely no offense was given and no apology was necessary. I also hope you'll reconsider your decision to leave, but I know you've gotta chart whichever course will cause you the least amount of stress and anxiety, because, with the exception of loved ones, pets, and your wallet, sleep is just about the worst thing in the world to lose.

And as for you, Spooky.... I'll catch up with you and Midnite Shadow tomorrow in the People Occasionally topic. Pencil in about an hour and a half tomorrow afternoon to read my response....
