An "Alternative Holidays" Forum?

Non-Halloween related stuff. Same rules: family oriented, no flaming, be nice. ;-)

An "Alternative Holidays" Forum?

Post by DemonSlayerMau » Fri Jan 01, 2010 4:15 pm

This is just a suggestion, I'd like to see everyone's input on this and maybe if people like it HalloweenCom will consider adding a new forum for this.
There's a lot of discussion about other holidays that aren't as mainstream, some practiced by other cultures and religions like Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Krampus Night, Passover, Dia de Muertos and several other holidays.
So how about a section dedicated to these specific holidays? It can just be one forum, and then discuss different holidays and traditions associated with them in that forum, and if anyone celebrates them they can talk about them. Even if you don't, it's still fascinating to learn about them.
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

meh, I think this is a Halloween forum and should pretty much stay that way, there are other forums where all those things are discussed....

Some people like to stick with the same community though and simply discuss other things.
Just because it's a Halloween forum doesn't mean we have to talk only about Halloween.

and boy isn't that true for this one hahaha
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

You said it zombie-man.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.
