The Three Stooges Movie is on the fast track: Variey says MGM has greenlighted comic duo Peter and Bobby Farrelly ("There's Something About Mary"), who spent five years trying to develop the flick at Warner Bros.
The film is "not a biopic", says Peter Farrelly. "It takes place in present day, and they look, dress and sound exactly like the Stooges... When the economy started turning, we felt like the world could use a Stooges slapfest".
No word on who'll play Moe Howard and Larry Fine, but Farrelly plans to hold an "American Idol" -like search for the perfect Jerome Howad (that's Curly).
Well, I will see if I can find out more information about this THREE STOOGES flick.
