I have friends down that way too, PumpkinMan.
That is very scary.

Re: Hurricane Irene
The most recent weather report I heard suggested that the newest Gulf storm is more likely to hit Mississippi than Florida, Mike. I hate that for my home state, of course, but perhaps this storm won't be so bad. It's not a hurricane yet.
I think the main damage Irene has done is all the flooding up North. I feel bad for those people. Nashville had a gosh-awful flood in the spring of 2010, and things still aren't altogether back to normal around here.

we're hoping it's a tropical storm dumping lots of water!

It turned out it wasn't such a much. Made me quite ill Friday and Saturday wondering if my girlfriend's rescheduled flight would make it in though. Out of 8,000 flights canceled on the east coast, JetBlue still decided to send that plane. Must've kent it were my birthday.

Mike, how is your older sister doing in FL? I hope she is doing all right.

Re: Hurricane Irene
My older sister in Florida is doing fine. She does not like to talk on the phone when it's storming, because of the possibility of lightning strikes, so we've been playing "Telephone Tag" with each other. So far she has not been in any hericanes, but there have been some major thunder storms in her area, which is St. Peters Berg.

Everything is fine here, and it's goo to hear about your sister, Mike!
Also, I've talked with a best friend of mine.... maybe she will be my future girlfriend in New York!
Yes, that's true... she's doing all right in NY, but she will move near me in VA anytime.
