Make sure if you see The Shining, you see the one with Jack Nicholson, not the one with the dude from Wings....!!

Oh yes. Yes they did. They really did.

More specifically, Stephen King really did. Supposedly he wasn't happy with the Kubrick interpretation. :|

I think King thought that he could match the success of the mini-series that he made from The Stand.

That was a great production.

As for the shining remake, I was embarrassed for him. :oops:
