Re: Murder in the Dark
Hello Rising Dead Man,
I think it depends on you age group? I know my dad would never go for it & he's 75. I would and I'm 45, but I love to be silly & party. It just depends on the party, Witchy

Re: Murder in the Dark
I'm 15, and I think I'm too old for it. To me it seems odd for teenagers to be playing games like this. Just my opinion.

Re: Murder in the Dark
Teenagers would probably think this game isn't fun because they're more in that phase of wanting to be an adult and do more "grown up" things.
However, being an adult is overrated. Once you get older you have to deal with real life adult problems and stress and you see the simplicity of just having fun and being childish and how important that really is.

Re: Murder in the Dark
I wanted to say that I notice adults doing more childish things than teens so I might do it when I'm older. But I thought that sounded really stupid. I would love to play this. I want to. But I just do not think anyone else at the Halloween party would because it seems too childish. And I would feel very immature doing it.

Yeah if you're having a party with teenagers I'd understand if you didn't want to play it. You'd just have to do whatever is fun for you guests.

Hi, sometimes I think it's more fun to be an adult, because you don't have to worry about what other people think as much. When I was in middle school & high school I worried about what everybody thought. It gets much easier the older you get, now I don't worry about what most people think, only my husband & kids.
Just my thought, Witchy

Witcky is dead-on
I had one of those 'well DUH!" moments about ten years ago. I have no idea what sparked it but it dawned on me that tere are only a handful of people who's opinion of me I actually care about.

Wow, I might have to try this out sometime. Maybe twist the 'plot' so that it's a Halloween themed monster killing the players.

well that's bc when you're an adult and stop caring what others think.. you're kinda sinking back into that child like state of mind to where you don't care
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

That game actualy sounds like it would be fun to play, and I have a great old house. Sort of like "hide and go seek," but with a Halloween twist to it. My little grand nieces and nephew would love that game.
