Ghosts caught on tape:
I thought a few of these stories might be hoax. But a few others seem pretty unexplainable.
I liked the last story, where paranormal investigators are in a wine cellar. The rooms are emtey, and there are no windows or doors. But somehow, the mist particles, (which you can see in the videos) are moving around, like back and forth. Sometimes even stopping in mid air, and changing direction.
This is unusual, as there shouldn't be air currents that would be moving the particles around. To me, this is the most convincing.
The one of the family in the black forest, with their security camers, also seems to have a ring of truth. I must admit, I have never seen orbs that were so powerfly bright and large before. But their movements define any sort of explaination.
Then there is the mansion with the golden ghost. Then there's the house with what is supposed to be a demon in it. Notice you don't see the full view of the chair that moves, or the table that moves. There's nothing that proves that the chair OR table are not being pulled by a cord or a rope.
But as far as a few of the videos where the furnature moves, A lightweight chair slides off to the left. It twists as it begins to slide. I think that the chair was pulled from off camera. Just as if someone ties a cord to the foot of the chair and pulled it. The sheetrock that pops off the wall, well, I can tell that was rigged.
So I figure that about 75% of the stuff is explainable. But just because I can't explain the rest, doesn't mean it's true.
A lot of the images I saw on the site seem to be image trickery, or that things just seemed to line up just right to make things appear. Since the camera is a songle mono view, without depth perception, this kind of stuff happens a lot more than you may think.
For instance, the rock band video... The lelments were probably always there, it's just when you put the scene in a monocular vantage point, the mind tries to put these images together, in a way that makes sense.
We've all seen some sort of optical illusions before. Mostly the mind searches for the familliar in these images. So what might be a form of "flike" lightplay, captured on film, can be percieved as a face, or a human form.
Not that I don't believe in ghosts, but we really have to be aware that there are a lot of charlatains who are begging for attention.

I've seen that last one before. But I'm convinced it's video trickery. They just froze a bit of the video, (the part in the mirror, directly behind the child, (from the camera's point of view.) So the mirror looked like the image froze.
All the other things that moved were all tricks. Done from out of the fiew of the camera. A few others seemed like pretty rough animation. Camera movements and effects done to make the camera look like it was damaged.
When the camera on the tripod fell over, I was astounded that the video didn't stop when the camera made impact. I was not impressed.
Sometime after that, a camera walks up to a door and it opens, and you see some sort of figure in the corner. Then the door closes, then you go back and open the door again. And a short figure is there. Plenty of time for someone in the room to place a prop in the middle of the hall/room there, then run & hide. It didn't move, it didn't fade in or out. It was just there.
So, no... Nothing got me to believe that they caught a demon, ghost or spirit on film or video tape. But then again, I do believe in spirits in our world. I don't need to be convinced by video or camera tricks.

Tell me about it. I swore I saw light flecks in the room last night. Once, I stayed at a friend's house. And he was a very spiritual Native American. He let me sleep in his room. The place was full of little glimmers of light, even though there was no light source. I could see them in mid air. Not like they were projected. They were sort of weird shapes, like scewed triangles, rectangles and ovals. Sometimes streaks and sometimes pinpoint flashes. All of this is not very bright. But there were different colors.kallie0509 wrote:as much as i love halloween, i hate horror movies and i scare very easily! LOL, i think i psyche myself out very often!
And before you ask, Yes, I was as sober as a person could be.
They didn't take a human form. But I asked him about it the next day and he said, "Yeah, those are warrior spirits. Nothing to fear. They come in a good way." Thing is, I wasn't really freaked about it at all. I was calm and it was sort of soothing. At the time, I almost expected it.
A second story I have is that I was out in a remote area, camping. I was on the property of another friend. He told me that there are native warrior spirits in my camp area. (I actually camped near the area where he said that they dwell.) Some nights, you can see them, at a distance, like 100 yards away, in a group, standing near a fallen tree.
We stayed up late that night working on our regalia. It was about 3AM when we finally decided to call it quits. I walked about 300 yards out to the camp and I did my incense and prayers. But then I spoke to the warriors, letting them know that I'm not here for trouble. And I showed the enpty tent the regalia I worked on.
I asked them to be careful if they decided to touch the regs. I was getting ready to bed down and my walkng stick fell over. I said, "I told you to be careful!" Then the electric lantern went out.
I sat there in the dark for a while, thinking to myself, "Well, now you've done it. Their pissed at you now. So I spoke aloud and apologized for my anger. Just then, the lantern came back on.
At some Pow Wows, in an open, emtey field. You can see white tipis, appear about 1/4 a mile away. Friends and I decided to walk over there. But it seems that the tipis moved further away as we walked. Didn't matter how far we walked the titip would still be the same distance away. We decided to walk back, and when we reached the Pow Wow, we turned around and the tipis were still there, and it seemed that we had walked to the spot where they seemed to be at that time.
So, yeah. I have a tendancy to believe that there are spirits out there. The Native Americans don't fear ghosts. They welcome them. I've talked with native spiritual leaders, and they alway invite me to attend a sweat lodge. A sweat lodge is where spirits are invited to come inside. It was the strangest experience I ever had in my life. But it may also have been the most fulfiling.
After the sweatlodge, the leader of the lodge said he saw a wolf spirit (A warrior spirit,) decend upon me. And several others who attended the lodge also took me aside and told me the same thing. So, I guess, not only is my costume for Halloween something that I have chosen for myself, but it seems I have a wolf spirit with me as well. I'm told, The Wolf spirit is a happy one. And tends to be playful.
I don't know if this is something that you would believe. But it is something I had experienced. I don't think these people have any reason to be untruthful, because I have never given them a reason to dislike me. So I have to take their words at face value and I believe that they believe that they are speaking the truth.

wolfman, i just realized that you yourself called the second event a "story" in your post. i felt really bad that you thought that i didn't believe your story (which was not the case at all) and i apologized too, but you called me out about calling your story a "story". i don't want to start any ill feelings especially as i've told you that i really enjoy reading your posts, but i do believe your story and even told you about mine. i really did see the lights too and i thought they were faeries and my story is true too.
no ill feelings, man, peace.
