He has been starring in horror movies longer than almost anyone living. How many Christopher Lee movies have you seen? What are your favorite CL's movies? Here's a partial list of CL horror movies.

As far as my favorite CL's movie go? I LOVE "The Wicker Man", but I'm also a big fan of "Horror of Dracula". My grandpa loves this movie!

This thread prompted me to skim the Wikipedia entry on Lee. He has certainly had a long, varied, and lucrative career!

Like everyone else on the planet, I've seen him in movies my whole life long, but I probably saw him mostly when I was a kid, watching Friday night horror movies. I generally liked anything about Dracula.

Of course, he has appeared in modern classics like the LOTR trilogy as well as Burton's Sleepy Hollow. I read in Wikipedia that he & Anthony Head recorded the Ballad of Sweeney Todd for Burton's film, but it was cut (a bad choice, I think, as the Ballad is one of the highlights of the stage play).

I actually dislike The Wicker Man, but not because of the performances of anyone in it. I think it had a superb cast (I loved loved loved Edward Woodward, too). I just don't like the story of that film, at all. I dislike seeing the protagonist destroyed at the end. He had his faults, but he was essentially a decent man, willing to risk his life to save a child, and he was tricked and trapped. That movie leaves me with a bad feeling.

Than the movie was made properly. The Wicker Man is supposed to leave you with a bad feeling. It is supposed to be unsettling. And it succeeds in that goal.

True, Boogeyman. I guess it just isn't a movie I enjoy.
