This film is coming out this Friday, December 18th 2009.

Pretty similar to other movies, like " The War of the Worlds", "Transformers", "Independence Day", and "Mars Attacks!"

Zoe Saldana (Drumline), Sigourney Weaver (Alien, Aliens and Alien3), and Michelle Rodriquez (Resident Evil) are starring in this movie!

good movie :) didn't know it was 3D though
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I haven't seen it yet. I might go, though.

We were going to go as a family (five of us), but balked at the $10.50 price tag per person. I don't know if we'll get to see it in the theater or not.

Over fifty bucks for a family to go see a movie, and that doesn't even include popcorn?!?!?! That is criminal. :x

It was INCREDIBLE!

You don't watch movie - you experience it.

Cannot recommend it enough. (it's a cowboys and indians movie).

It's in 3-D, so the ticket prices are higher than normal. I believe there is one theater where they show it without the 3-D effects, and the price is lower there. I'm not sure we're going to try for it in either theater, though.

It's an awesome must-see movie! It has everything in it from giant robot walkers to giant cat people and awesome special effects and a unique story. It's a movie I could watch over and over again. Only downside is that it's very long. Prepare for 3 hours of movietime folks!
I got to see it in 3D and I can say it was worth it. I would've been happy seeing it either way though. I'm such a nerd I'm even thinking about getting the action figures. XP
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

Yep i managed to find an IMAX theatre about an hour away and you would not believe how much it enhances the movie. It literally feels like your part of the movie, and the scenery is already so beautiful throughout the film.
