Creepiest horror movie villain ever. Anyone agree?

If you don't know who I'm talking about, watch Misery.

hmmm have to look this one up
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

That movie still makes me cringe.

Misery didnt strike me as a horror film, but more of an insane torcher type thing. I usually dont like Steven King films, they are pretty good up to the end then they suck huge. I do remember the scene where she breaks his ankles, man that hurt me when I watched it....

That scene is better in the book. She uses an ax to cut his Achilles tendons...much much more horrific!

I actually feel sorry for Annie. Even though she was an insane baby killer, I still feel sorry for her. I mean, she had some serious mental issues. Who even knows what made her do that? And she really thought she had a real relationship with Paul when in reality, he hated her guts! That also makes me feel bad for her.

I think of this one as a psychological horror flick. And the book....OMG! I have to give King some credit, out of all of his movies...this one is the one that is most closest to the book and doesn't leave you ticked off. And I have to admit, when I read the book (which I just got done reading again) I totally hear Kathy Bates in my head. She was PERFECT!

I just finished the novel today. And what I have to say is, wow. That makes the movie look as pleasant as Sesame Street! I finished it in three days. Really good.

Am I the only one who feels sympathetic to Annie? I mean, she really thought she was nursing Paul like a loving mother. But she totally tortured him! She has some serious issues man!

Yep old Annie had issues galore!
She is the prime example of tough love. haha

The book is awesome and I really liked the movie too. Kathy Bates is perfect in it!

Rosie O'Donnell + Ned Flanders = Annie Wilkes
