Would 'Scream' have ended differently?

Ok, so my wheels are turning this morning, because I just woke up from a nightmare that was similar to the opening scene of 'Scream', but instead I was in high school and it was a sleepover, and we were being terrorized by a man on the phone. And what's weird is, the nightmare started out with my husband and I watching 'Scream', and then suddenly I was transported into the movie.
I started thinking, "What if Casey had answerd the question about Friday the 13th differently? Would she have lived? Would her boyfriend have lived?
What do you guys think? What do you think would have happened?
Random, I know, but what better place to ask then here...

First, exactly what was the question again? And two, how would the answer create a different chain of events?

I don't think it would have made a difference. The movie "Scream" was about a psycho killer who's entire M,O. is based on movies, so there would not have been a right answer. I didn't think very much of that movie, to be quite honest. It wasn't bad, mind you, but I've seen better.

The question is, in the movie, when he asks her who was the killer in Friday the 13th, and she says it was Jason...which ultimately led to both her and her boyfriend being killed, because she answered it wrong....my question is, do you think things would have happened differently if she had answered the correct answer, which was the Jason's mom was the Killer in Friday the 13th...

It was just a question...was looking for creative answers.

Scream was fun and if she got it right he would have just played games even more until she answered an incorrect answer. He was a pshyco!

OK, thanks for the reminder. I recall the scene now. Actually, I have this movie on DVD, and always enjoyed it for its originality. However, I haven't watched it in sometime. Maybe I'll add it to my Halloween-viewing list.
Now, I DO think a different answer MAY have changed the outcome of the scene, because her parents arrived just as she was dying. And so, one could assume that if her attacker had been delayed by another correct answer in his game, her parents may have actually saved her from being murdered. It logically follows. What are your thoughts? And, is this what you were looking for in an answer?

Good imagination, hippieluvn! Yes, that's what I was looking for!
Because, the game was played with her answering questions...and I believe if she had answered correctly, things would have been much different. Now, I know that it's a movie, and it can't possibly change, but I do this a lot... see movies and wonder "if this and this had happened, would THIS have happened?"
I felt the same as you, but I wondered if her boyfriend would have still ended up being killed? My guess is, probably. Someone had to die in the opening scene, lol.
