Louis Jourdan as Dracula

In 1977,a BBC version of dracula was released, starring the magnificent actor Louis Jourdan ( he of Gigi fame ).It has been released a couple of times since,on video and dvd,but was immediately stopped.it has been very difficult to get hold of for years.fortunately, very recently,it has been released again on dvd,and can be bought on amazon and amazon uk ( region 2 ).
I bought a copy a few months ago off ebay, and watched it.I was absolutely stunned at how superior this version was,and how magnificently Louis Jourdan portraid count dracula.it is definately, one,if not the, closest versions to the book ever made.obviously,it had to omit a vast amount of the novel,as it is only about 2 hours 20 minutes long, but it includes all the vital bits people need to be able to follow the original novel, much more so than the hammer 1957/58 and the later bram stokers dracula, starring anthony hopkins.
Has anyone else here seen this version of dracula? what do you think of it?
