The Wicker Man 1973 Classic
I really like both actors Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward. And also, a sexy actress Britt Ekland! FYI: Some nudity scenes. Even little horror images there! Rating R for mild violence and nudity!
BTW, I didn't get a chance to see The Wicker Man Remake
That movie was starred by Nicolas Cage... It was Rating PG-13 version that included some language and disturbing images and mild violence too.

Re: The Wicker Man
I love the original Wicker Man, it was eerie and so different.
The Nicholas Cage in Wicker Man remake was so bad. But I will say his acting was entertainingly bad. Many homepages are on youtube. My favorite is Nicholas Cage punches a woman while wearing bear suit.

Re: The Wicker Man
I actualy did enjoy the remake very much, but the original was the film that had the greatest impact on me. So I voted for the original. It's the same deal with "The Haunting." The original was a seriously scary "thrill ride" through a haunted house, but the remake was a well developed story about a sweat shop owner turned peodaphile who killed children and how their and his ghosts are trapped in this creepy, sick old house where they eternaly play "hide & go seek."

I'm sorry but Nicholas Cage is not a good actor and that movie was not good. I have never seen or knew that there was an original and would be up to watching that.

Re: The Wicker Man
i voted for the original bc that's the one i grew up watching so it has that "home" feeling to it
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Ok, you see the difference... the Wicker Man remake is PG-13, but the original 1973 is R because of some nudity. The remake didn't make any sense at all because some of the storyline and scene were so different from that original movie. I preferred the original, that's why I voted for it!
