Re: HIPPIELUVN'S HALLOWEEN HORRORTHON 2018
TMC is doing a great job of entertaining us this last weekend before Halloween.
They just finished showing The Ghost and mrs. Muir and now it's The Ghost and Mr. Chicken.
Both fantastic in their own unique ways.

My wife has finally given in to seven years of trying to turn her into a horror fan. She LOVES Myers. Last night we watched Halloween Curse of Michael Myers. I had not seen it since '96, but we both agree, movie is bad. * 1/2, mostly for Donald P.
Tonight, it's H20's turn. I have not seen it since the theaters in '98.

Since my weekend in Sleepy Hollow was rained out...
And we have amazing weather today and tomorrow...
I've decided to simply take a few days off from work...
And just enjoy my last 48-hours of Halloween activities...
Today I'll take a 20-mile train ride up to Sleepy Hollow...
I've schedule a walking-tour through the town & cemetery...
I'll then take a train back to New York City for showtime...
Tonight I watch THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway...
And except for HALLOWEEN on the big screen tomorrow night...
The rest of that day and what it still holds for me is but a mystery

Great! Definitely check it out. My wife was not a fan of horror much at all. She has fallen in love with Myers, even talking me into watching all of them. Even Resurrection, which she enjoyed MUCH more than I did

Thanks for sharing your annual horrorthon! Many of these movies I also own and love. Ghost and Mrs Muir is an old fave, and we have the History Channel docs, too.
What a marvelous day you have planned, Sleepy Hollow and Phantom!
Thanks for the photo of the Central Park pumpkin flotilla. You'd think they'd show that on TV, but I had never seen it.
October goes by too fast.

Re: HIPPIELUVN'S HALLOWEEN HORRORTHON 2018
Worked all day inside a windowless office while the weather outside was amazing--sunny, 60 degrees...
As soon as work was over, I had one hour to "kill" before my date with Michael Myers on the big screen...
So I grabbed a slice of pizza for dinner and went for a walk through Greenwich Village, Soho, and Tribeca...
Smoked a cigar on my evening stroll and enjoyed the costumed characters roaming the streets of New York...
Landed at Roxy Cinema for a screening of John Carpenter's original HALLOWEEN on the (somewhat) big screen...
After the movie I came home, sat with a glass of wine, and watched the end of Village Halloween Parade on TV...
Hope you had a wonderful day filled with spooky celebrations--and that you have another great year, my friends
