The only thing of that era I really embraced, was the lead singer of Duran Duran. lol
My sister had posters all over her side of the room, so through her I got the dreaded affliction also. :D (He sure was cute!!)

When my brothers and I were wee, we had rat's tails. Remember those? They were wildly popular for about half a year in the early eighties......like a mullet, only you cut the hair on the sides and just leave about an inch wide strip in the middle....

OMG! There is a little boy in my daughter's class that wears that hairstyle, at least he's unique right? :lol: Does anyone remember banana clips?

Remember how the guitarist and the bassist and the lead singer of those hair metal bands would line up on the stage, and then dip and up in sync to the drumbeat?!? :lol:

...and chicks with huge shoulder pads. Looked like defensive linemen in makeup. :lol:
