I'm watching it now. It ain't so bad, so far. Totally reminds me of one of the late '60s/early '70s Hammer films. If it didn't have a recent date on it I would think it was. Maybe the reason everyone is bashing it is because it's not a modern, flashy vampire movie? Definitely not one of Argento's better movies for sure. I'll still get it on DVD when it comes out. I'm 56 minutes in and still no sign of Rutger Hauer.

I think one review said that Rutger only shows up in the last 40 minutes. Isn't the girl who played Vin Diesels love interest in "xXx" in this flick? If it is her, I wonder if they could cover up all her tattoos? I wonder if modern day vampires get tattoos?

Kolchak,

Argento always has his daughter Asia in his films. She usually the lead actress. And yes it is the same actress from "xXx".

Also not the first time she is naked in one of daddy's movies.

Ah yes! Good old fashion nude-it-a-tee. You can never have too much in a vampire flick.

I was traveling years ago and spent the night at a hotel that had several adult channels on the TV. While flipping the channels I found the X-rated version of the Academy Awards. One of the movies that got an award was their version of Dracula. It was a rip off of the one with Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder.

The "Star" was getting her award and was thanking everybody for such an honor, and she goes onto talk about the great costumes and special effects in the movie.

We then see a clip from the movie. There she is. Buck Nekkid with a pair of plastic vampire fangs....and nothing else. So much for the great costumes and special effects.

Don't you know her parents were so proud!

Odd name for a female adult film star: Buck Nekkid.

That was just her stage name.

Her real name was Mora Ora Gazm. She was Hungarian.

Well I finally saw the movie but not in 3-D. It was pretty good and it we did get to see some lovely Italian girls in the altogether. I'm pretty sure some of the actors had their voices dubbed over by those with a little easier to understand English. Rutger abd the dude who played Dracula were using their own voices, not sure about the really hot girl who became a vampire but not before showing us her lovely....acting!

The special effects were okay but far from Industrial Light and Magic. I got the biggest kick out of theme song. The DVD I watched had the theme song and its music video to go along with it. It was major Cheese, through and through! Funny despite the fact I don't think the lead singer could speak or sing a word of English.

She would speak certain parts of the song and she pronounced Dracula...Dra-cool-Ah!
