first bad thing i've heard of the film... my friend owns it so it'll be a free rental for me thank god lol
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

to be fair i think I got two good "jumps" out of it, I actually bonked my head on the head board once. As I said, it was good enough to keep me entertained but I doubt I would watch it twice.

I also watched the 1988 Elvira, Mistress of the Dark last night. Very campy, tongue in cheek, funny....I liked it but again, I doubt I'd watch it twice.......Tonight will be Transylvania 65000!!

I was pleasantly surprised with "Drag Me to Hell". It's what "Thinner" should have been and then some. Most Horror flicks these days stink, but this one really pulled itself out of the rut. The gross-outs are hideous and hilarious at the same time, and the creators do not back down in the end. The movie has that "we have to come up with a plan" thing that are the meat and potatoes of my favourite second acts.
Oh, your so cool, Brewster!
Hey, Butchy. They still got Oreo's next door?
Dracula's in the house!!! In the house?!
Welcome to the party, Honey!

I just watched it for free on youtube. I had a headset on loud, so I kept jumping through it (One time I actually did jump.). It had me laughing and yelling throughout. Since the years this came out and I knew about it I thought it was something serious. Not what I was expecting.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

10 bucks for a theatre ticket??? The most I pay for a 2D movie is 8 bucks, and I can usualy get the before 5 matinee for 5:50. I do like to go to the latest showings, however so I pay a few extra bucks for that. I did enjoy "Drag me to Hell," though, and I thought it was worth the 8 dollar theatre ticket.
