Pocahauntus

Post by Haunt Master » Sat Nov 08, 2008 3:32 pm

I got this DVD in the mail today, so I am going to watch it tonight.

DVD Description:

Native American icon Pocahauntus (Stephanie Basco) returns from the dead every 100 years to get bloody revenge on the descendants of the people who slaughtered the rest of her tribe in this cheeky low-budget horror extravaganza. Featuring the irresistible tagline "She's hot, she's dead and she's pissed", Pocahauntus also stars Barry J. Ratcliffe, Eliza Swenson, Tasha Dixon, Chris Angelo and Cory Knauf.

It was made in 2006, but released later in 2008.

Unrated Version and the running time is 88 minutes.

Well, I will not know about this until I have to watch it tonight. ;)

Well, I watched that movie last nite and it was all right. It's just like low-budget and cheesy movie! Nothing's too serious. Not really much violent in it - but little blood and gore. Yes, some nudity and sexual contents. I would care not to watch it again, but I like Stephaine Basco aka Pocahauntus - She's really beautiful girl! Also, I liked tattooed woman, she's sexy! Sorry, I didn't catch her name.

Anyway, after carefully checked with Stephaine Basco from imdb.com and she only played in 3 movies! She played 2 movies in 2005 as well as this "Pocahauntus" film in 2006. So far, nothing in 2007 and this year of 2008. :? Well, I hope she will continue to play in another movie for 2009 or not...

This really looks tacky!
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

RDM,

I suggest you not to watch this movie because it doesn't have that kind of much killings, and it only has little gore in that film! :? Of course, some nudity in it!

I wouldn't bother to watch it again the next time. ;)

I wouldn't mind it too much except for the fact the Pocohantus is a real person, who actualy did exist, and was part of our History. You wouldn't see any movies made about Abraham Lincoln comming back from the deat and slaughtering the decendends of John Wilks Boothe. Why make a movie about a Native American comming back to reek vengence?

Yeah, I remember watching a cartoon movie about her when I was little.

And I also remember a live action one. I think I'll watch the live action one tonight I remember it being kind of interesting.

The Pocahauntus horror movie looks pretty cheesy.

You want a really crappy movie? Watch Mr. Jingles!

Not only is it cheasy, but it's an insult to the memory of Pocahantus, who in reality was a hero. Like I said, I would never go to a movie that featured Abraham Lincoln comming back from the deat to reek revenge. I also would not want to see a movie like that about Geranomo, F.D.R, J.F.K. Neil Armstrong, Susan B. Anthony, George Washington, Martin Luthor King, or any other real Historical figure, either.

I agree with you! As a Native American, I find this offensive.
