Haunted House movies

I need to find documentation on haunted houses. Which movie do you recommend I watch? Thanks.

In no partucular order, here is a list that I came up with off the top of my head.

"The Haunting" The original
"The Haunting" Remake
"The Shining"
"The Changeling"
"House of Dark Shadows"
"The Ametyville Horror" The original
"The Ametyville Horror Pt II" Sequal to the original
"The Ametyville Horror" Remake
"Poltergeist"
"An American Haunting"

Those are what I could come up with off the top of my head. Like I said, there's no particular order to these. "Poltergeist," however, while being a great ghost story, takes place in a brand new house, so you don't get that same "creepy" feeling as you do in movies like "The Haunting" and "The Changeline" which take place in old houses.
