"The Walking Dead" coming to AMC as a series

The amctv website has announced they have ordered a pilot program for a new series based on the comic book series "The Walking Dead". Didn't see any estimates of an airdate.

I've never read the comic, but a zombie tv show is loooooong overdue, and AMC has done a rockin' job with Breaking Bad, so I'm psyched!

I thought all of those 'reality' shows were about zombies. Sure looks like it when I'm surfing around the TV.

Nope. Zombies at least have a purpose to their existence, even if it's only to nosh on human flesh.

Zombie Land was actually pitched as a pilot when it first came about (the fair scene)

I think it's teaching teachers how to teach.

wow mac so how about this
back at my old job (conference call event specialist blah blah blah)
2 years ago i was on a call where they were discussing the pilot episode... the whole cast from breaking bad and the entire cast from weeds was on the call as well.. they were discussing about how the pilot episode resembled too much that of the weeds pilot episode (sorry if that's bad grammar its been a long day)
i've been wanting to see it
my dad is in love with the show (weeds and breaking bad)

yea that crappy job had its perks.. i talked to kobe, koby, kobe bryant... however you spell it.. i spoke with michelle obama frequently on the Lady Dems calls (before he was elected) and a few other celebs like brett michaels, paris hilton, the models in one of the season of america's next top model... it was pretty cool at times.... that job allowed me to be on here 24/7
