Extreme Paranormal - Set to debut Monday, October 19th on A&E.
http://www.aetv.com/extreme-paranormal/

In "Extreme Paranormal," irreverent paranormal explorers Shaun, Nathan and Jason investigate chilling local legends, attempting to seek the truth by provoking spirits. Unlike other paranormal investigators, they put themselves directly in harm's way - taunting ghosts, summoning the dead and daring the demonic to attack.

"Extreme Paranormal" gives rabid paranormal fans the ride they've always wanted: the chance to follow a team that dares to challenge legends, curses, and hauntings by actually attempting to provoke paranormal activity. These guys have spent the last ten years kicking sand in the face of ghosts across America. Every Sunday at midnight, they recount their latest mission on their popular radio show "Ghostman and Demon Hunter."

While other paranormal investigators keep the spirit world at arms-length, our guys lack that part of their DNA that tells other investigators to "be afraid" and run away during intense encounters. The team has developed a bring-it-on mentality when it comes to their explorations.

Lucky! Over here in Canada, atleast where I live, the only paranormal-related shows we can watch are Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Creepy Canada and now Extreme Paranormal. Creepy Canada was good until it started repeating on different channel. I think they quit making new episodes of that show years ago.

I've been watching it all evening. It's ok. That guy drawing runes in his own blood is asking for it. I wouldn't want to tie myself, ritually, to a place like that. That said...if they lay off the drama and come up with some good evidence then more power to them.
Even the worst ghost show is better than the rest of reality tv.

I had free time to watch the debut episode last night. Gotta love VCR's that record! I don't know what to make of this show. I'm not the kind of person who immediatly jumps the gun and yells FAKE! but I found this show to be too professional. The camera shots were always still and I noticed near the end one of the investigators said something like How can my machine be dying? There's no electricity for miles, it's not possible that the electricity from miles away can interfere. Then I realized, I was watching a show. There's electricity coming off the camera's and lights. :?

I will have to watch another episode of Extreme Paranormal.

A dvr coupled with a vcr is a mighty thing. And some movies are still kind of hard to get. I have alot of old MST3000 from the golden days of Comedy Central on tape so the VCR still has its place.
