Me As A Creepy Duchess

Since I usually do historical or period characters and costumes, I thought that I would develop some Halloween characters. I love horror movies, especially the old Universal and Hammer films.
While glancing over the net on Alice In Woderland characters from various films ( not in search of a Halloween character), one of the pictures that came up for The Ugly Duchess was the one below:
This picture is from the play The Ugly Duchess by Janet Munsil based on the 14th century ruler of Tyrol, Margaret Maultesch who was monstrously ugy but politically desirable.
The Duchess in her play was performed by her husband Paul Terry which took a lot of the femininity from this ugly creature.
I showed this picture to friends on another forum and they all said that this character was creepy, ugly and very scary.
So my charcater was chosen and I put my costumer to work on a design. If I could look costume wise and makeupwise close to the original picture I should have a surefire winner.
The plus side was the character was ACTUALLY real creepy and scary while the downside was I would have to costume as a woman. Since i had already costumed as Charley's Aunt and A Grandmother this would not be that much different.
So this was the final result of my idea, my costumer's superb work and my enthusiam for doing this character.
So I think that my costumer did an excellent job as far as duplicating the clothing. Makeup is not my strong point but I do believe that it came out fairy good enough to be both ugly and creepy.
This character would certainly scare the hell out of someone in a dark alley ( and hopefully a costume party).
I have the best costume designer and maker in the world!
I hope my future ideas work out as well as this one did.
