Senior Costume

Post by skullychick » Thu Aug 28, 2008 2:59 am

For the seniors at my high school, we are allowed to dress up, and nobody else! As you can imagine people go all out. I was wondering if you guys would help me think of really unique ideas for a costume. I was thinking of being either a dead prom queen, or Medusa. I don't know yet though, any ideas are appreciated!

Get together with your friends and dress up as your favorite teachers, it's the one day you can make fun of them without repercussions! Don't do dead prom queen, it's too cliche.

OOOH yes you should totally be Medusa... I did that a few years ago and it was super fun.... Go to the dollar store or a toy store and pick up a whole bunch of those little rubber or plastic snakes and weave them into your hair.

This takes kind of a long time and a LOT of pins, but the effect is super cool. I took pieces of hair and twisted them then pinned them down, then worked the little snakes into them. I was a little worried that they were going to fall out through the night, but they managed to stay in place pretty well. Likely a good costume as long as you're not planning on doing a lot of dancing :)
