I swear the second it gets warm out my mind goes straight to Halloween! I think the only months I don't get psyched about it would be Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb! But I promised everyone that I wouldn't start about Halloween until my official "Halloween Start Date" of July 5th. I'm gettin' psyched already!

So what happens on the official start date? Is it just open for discussion or is that when you start decorating and planning? That's awesome if you start that early, I usually force myself to wait until at least August, that's when I started decorating last year.

Hey, OPTIDONN, I've already started. I'm feverishly searching for ideas and planning the Harry Potter Halloween party. I've started making notes in my little Halloween notebook, and even bought something the other day that I will need for the invitations. Rock on! 8)

Another sign I might be an addict:

My sister and her family were temporarily living with my mom, and moved out this past weekend into their new house, and while going through closets, I found all of my niece's Halloween stuff from last year. She had gone to a carnival at a church and they gave her TONS of cool stuff. My sister said I could have it, but we were worried that if the four year old saw me with it she would flip, so I smuggled it out in a backpack. That's right, I stole Halloween swag from a four year old. Gah.

That's why we're here, my dear, so we can rant on to each other about Halloween, and not drive our family and friends crazy!!
