Halloween Music
I'm having a costume party on the 28th and I'm trying to put together a Halloween theme playlist.
Other than just the classics of course..
Any ideas?

4) Fade Away & Radiate - Blondie
5) Under The Milky Way - The Church
6) Creature With The Atom Brain - Roky Erickson and the Aliens
7) Don't Fear The Reaper - The Mutton Birds
Cool Ant Invasion - Adam and the Ants
9) Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) - David Bowie
10) These Hands - The Damned
11) Zombies - The King Khan & BBQ Show
12) Bloodstains - Agent Orange
13) Halloween - Siouxsie and the Banshees
14) See No Evil - Television

Let me know if you need a copy. I will be working on Vol. 2 shortly.

Laurie stares at the station wagon as it moves past. She looks directly at The Shape inside. There is a quick glimpse of him, a strange pale face staring back.

Hi CaptHowdy,
I see your post is from 2006, but hopefully you still check in here, and continue to celebrate Halloween every year!
I'm a songwriter who loves Halloween, and I've written a Halloween song that I think is fun for all ages.
It's called "It's A Hip Hop Halloween Night".
It's a very danceable number, sure to please those who like songs like Thriller, Ghostbusters etc. (by the way there's another suggestion for you...Ghostbusters!)
If you would like to hear a sample please go to:
https://www.worldstagemusic.net/halloween
You can also purchase a download of the song there. (It's a secure site, so no worries.)
Hope you enjoy it!

Great playlists guys. I'm planning on making my own to listen to. Halloweenradio.com just isn't doing it for me anymore. Thanks for the ideas.

Re: Halloween Music
There's good music on there, a lot of obscure ones. But a lot that just don't have anything to do directly with Halloween and they recycle the songs a lot. It's still a good site though. I'd just rather make my own list so I know I'll like every song instead of every 4 or 5 songs

There's a song called "Love Song for a Witch" by Dog Fashion Disco. They've been one of my fave bands for years. I totally forgot about the song. Good one for Halloween

Re: Halloween Music
If you go to http://www.imeem.com and type in Halloween they have a great selection of songs that you can play from your computer/laptop without having to buy the CD's.
Some songs I'm going to play in my graveyard are:
1. X-files theme
2. Monster Mash
3. A theme called Halloween (It lasts over 14 minutes and has LOTS of creepy sounds)...LOVE this one, I might just put it on repeat.
4. Nightmare on Elm Street theme
5. The Exorcist theme
They also have all kinds of creepy sound effects like the noises from the Grudge, people screaming, funeral bells...etc. It's really great.

I've learned there are three things you don't discuss with people: religion, politics and the Great Pumpkin. - Linus
