Re: My halloween party
Depends on where you live. The most affordable places I know of are usually ethnic clubs, Irish Club, Albanian Club, Italian Club, etc. You don't usually need to be affiliated because they just want the money. Since the room will likely be sitting empty anyway, the prices tend to be very good.Hallow's Queen wrote:may be different this year!

If the party is too big or runs too late, I believe they may insist on security being hired however
Re: My halloween party
Churches and sometimes firehouses have banquet halls that they are willing to rent out, and I am sure its not very costly. I remember my family had a going away party a long time ago and we had it at the firehouse banquet hall. I'm not sure how much we spent on it though.

Re: My halloween party
I actualy am involved with two Halloween parties through out the Halloween season every year. The first one is our family Halloween Bonfire, which is held out at my brothers place in Princeton Illinois. We have a huge bonfire, and I show Halloween movies on a bed sheat at night time, and play music during the day. We also have a pumpkin walk, and the food is pot luck.
The second party is at my house around the 2nd weekend of October. Usualy my grand nieces and nephew and their father are the only guests I have. We roast hot dogs in my livingroom fireplace, and I play some music. We light up all the decorations and play Halloween music. When it gets dark enough, I'll play the Charlie Brown halloween special, or "The Legend of Sleepy Hallow."
On the real Halloween, I hand out trick or treat candy, prepar corned beef for my dinner, some times some of my neighbors drop in, but for the most part, it's pretty quite. I enjoy it wth my pumpkins, a few horror flicks and 'trick or treaters' at the door.

Re: My halloween party
May I ask the question?
Do you usually celebrate Halloween at home(create your own party)or go to the nightclub?
As for me,I`ve never spent Halloween in the nightclub. So should I do this?Need a suggestion
