Halloween Music

Post by ghostphase310 » Tue Nov 20, 2007 4:22 pm

Its really hard to find great Halloween music that isnt all sound effects...I dont really want my house to sound like a movie when im having a halloween party. A friend at umg gave me a CD to play at the party and it was a HUGE hit. Apparently it was a CD of the Dust Galaxy that does remakes of rock songs by taking out most of the words (appropriate for halloween), slowing down the music, and morphing some parts of the songs to make it sound weird! It was really fun music. Be sure to check them out for your next Halloween party.

You can listen to some of their music here: http://www.dustgalaxy.com/music/05_Rive ... _Forms.wma

here's some info on them if you want background: http://www.myspace.com/robgarzamusic

Honesty, I am not really familiar with any Halloween music myself - but I do believe there are several halloween music anywhere. I really don't know the name of the songs.

BTW, Welcome to Halloween Forum! Glad to see you as the newbie around here, Ghostphase310!

And also, didn't I see you from Halloween Nation? Just asking.

Everyday Is Like Halloween

Post by StationeryGuy » Tue Sep 16, 2008 2:12 pm

For anyone who is a fan of 80's alternative, don't forget Everyday is Like Halloween by Ministry. There are several videos on YouTube that could be used for visual effects with the song as well.

As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,

If you like funky, danceable Halloween music like Monster Mash, Thriller, Ghostbusters, etc., then you'll like "It's A Hip Hop Halloween Night".

Available at: http://www.worldstagemusic.net/halloween

You can also get it on iTunes, Amazon.com, etc.
