DC Comics is getting into the spirit this year with Horror themed variant covers. Yay DC!
Love the Batman & Robin one. I'll bet Witchy's favorite one is Wonder Woman. Click on the images at the site above to get the full-size images.
Edit: On a side note... I just read that Brandon Routh, guy who played Superman in 'Superman Returns', is going to play The Atom in the Arrow TV show. I hear girls think he's cute. What do they know?

They were all pretty cool but Wonder Woman and Batman & Robin were by far the best!! Very cool!!

The most valuable comic ever is up for auction on eBay. Anybody have a spare $3 million or so in their piggy bank? Only 8 days to go. Keep in mind, this issue is in almost perfect condition.

My guess is anyone who has that kind of money to plop down on a comic book already knows everything about it. From what I read there are only two copies of Action Comics #1 in existence in this condition, any movements made on it are probably closely followed by true collectors. If the auction was fake they'd know it. It's still sitting at $1,750,200. Be interesting to see what happens as the auction closes. The article says the owner was offered a $3 million price for it previously.

Do the rules of Ebay require him to sell if his price isn't met?
Someone tried to auction a house next door to us a few years back, but his asking price wasn't met, so even though the auction was held, he didn't sell the house.

Its a 'no reserve' auction so whatever the last bid is, is what it sells for. Bet the guy is getting a bit nervous about now.
Edit: It does look like he gave himself an out...
"The seller reserves the right to reject requests to bid or cancel already approved bids at its sole discretion and conduct further screening of bidders, including requesting additional documentation on the ability to make payment as well as request a deposit via PayPal or òredit òard before being allowed to bid/continue bidding, regardless of eBay feedback history."

Well, I can understand why he would give himself that out, but I kinda think both parties might have trust issues. I don't think I would want to do an Ebay auction for something that valuable.

If I had two million dollars to spend, I don't think I would be spending it on a comic book. Besides, if it's that valuable (and fragile, perishable, etc.), I wouldn't feel safe possessing it at home. I would have to turn it over to a museum for preservation.

Wow... winning bid was $3,207,852. Imagine what you could buy with that much money. Definitely wouldn't be a comic book I couldn't read.
