True Halloween Story about our 2011 Idea

I am so tickled that I simply must tell my Halloween story!
Back story: I have been writing a Halloween blog for years offering free printables, articles, or whatever Iand my co-writer, Jan, can think of. I started my small business in 1999 and my Halloween website/blog in 2001 and ever year we try and do something new as a test to see if people will use it (so we can work on it more over the summer for next year). This year our bright idea were letters written by The Great Pumpkin, for both adults and kids.
The joke of the adult letter from the Great Pumpkin was that you are to send your friend a letter from The Great Pumpkin, including a sign that says “ I believe in the Great Pumpkin†and the people had to hang up the sign or they would not be considered a true believer.
My co-writer and fellow Halloween blogger Jan was driving home from the market and saw a house where someone had made a pumpkin patch in the front yard with our "I believe" sign in the middle of the patch.
BOY, does it feel WONDERFUL to know someone out there actually put some time and thought into our idea, and enjoyed our "joke" about The Great Pumpkin. I was dancing around in my livingroom when I heard this.
Thanks for letting me share with all of you!
