Greetings,
I posted a few pics on the Introductions page, but here is a collection of shots from my yard haunt last year.
Here is the basic layout of my yardhaunt.
And here are two collages to show what I have set up. The first collage is from mid-October when I was still setting up. (The pumpkin patch got larger by the second collage).
And here's a good shot of the graveyard. (The skeleton in the hammock was new. It took me a while to hand weave the hammock)
And, finally, here is a composite shot of the yardhaunt at night.

The skeletons are all Oriental Trading 5 ft skeletons. They jump around in price, but I can usually get them for between $10 - $15 a piece. They're fantastic skeletons.
I just went to the Oriental Trading site and I couldn't find them listed right now. Seems they only have the 3 foot skeletons right now. Anyway, keep checking, 'cause they're really worth it.
This is the "Halloween Bicycle" that I've done the last two years.
And here's a skeleton with a load of pumpkins.

how do they hold up in the rain, they look paper mache?
I usually start setting up oct 1st so it's a long time out in the weather for me.

They're plastic! They hold up great in the rain. The skeletons are usually the first thing I put up. They're incredibly resilient, pretty easy to pose, and they look great. I really like the fact that they're 5 feet tall. It's pretty close to "life size" so they blend in well with other props, clothes, hats, etc.
This is the picture from the Oriental Trading website. They sell a 3ft and a 5ft version. I only use the 5ft version.

Those are pretty good looking skeletons, I must say.
