Brian, glad to know you've found some other "freaks" who love Halloween. Looks like a great haunt. Where do you store everything?

I've had a life-long love affair with Halloween and have been an avid yard haunter since I bought my first house 6 years ago. My one problem is getting the foot traffic. I've been featured in local papers, I put up fliers, etc., but I just can't seem to get more than 60-80 people. Even this last year (with Halloween on a Friday night) I think I only had about 75 people come by.

What can you recommend for more patrons?
Remember, it's never too early to start planning for Halloween.

Amazing work! I dig the theme, your walls are great, I can tell a lot of thought and time went into it. Another bookmark to my collection.
I may have missed it but do you have night pic's?

and Tk, it's all about location, location, location, I live on what used to be a very short dead end st, then 500 homes went in behind us and they opened up our st. into it, now it's the daytona 500 everyday, I bet in the last 3 years we've been here, 300-500 kids came down our st. I spent probably 100$ at least in candy, started buying 4 or so bags every payday for 3 months to prepare.
the rest of the time it's worth your life to check the mail...

Awesome work Brian !!!!

TK, I have or had the same problem. Last house on a dead end. I tried everything. Finally had the sign place make up some contractor style yard signs. "HAUNTED DECK" Halloween night with my adress. Put them around the neighborhood at the places were the school buses stop. That was all I needed. Made my place the scariest in the neighborhood and that made my house the most popular stop in the neighborhood.
And bussiness is good !!!

That is fantastic! I love the idea for creating walls out of those stact bottoms that most people just throw away!

I have an old barn we "haunt". It is one of those old ones that have the stalls (about 5 on either side) with an isl down the center. I usually hang plastic to make rooms. You have a much better idea!
