I'm putting together the final touches on Halloween 2008 props and yard haunts... I've added a Haunted Bathroom Vanity & Bathtub, along with the headless man in rocking chair... I collect junk out of people's garbage and recreate it for Halloween, then throw out the prop on Nov 1st.....
I'm bringing back the character from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre including real chainsaw (no chain though) ... severed head served on platter etc.. retired my electric chair for this year (did it last year)... my dummy 'joe' was always on my medical table but this year there will be a live body on table (looking rather dead)....

I'd love some more suggestions... I have a total of 16 family/friends as actors... will add something if it's great and cost effective!!
D :D

this sounds really cheesy but we always hang fishing string from up above where people walk. while they are all busy thinking they have spiderwebs on their faces/hair we have something scary jump out...
since you are doing a texas chainsaw theme. you should have a scary person with a small bloody meat tray. They should act all crazy and try to hand out "samples" of the meat. right next to a carved up dummy of course.

if you wanna be really messed up. chain somebody to a wall have them begging for help as people walk by...

thats awesome. I have that same problem so I end up focussing on the ground with zombies, etc. I've tried hanging twine but if you have anything with weight it sags pretty quickly.

do you have a website? you should post pics.

you could go to www.halloween.goldbook.ca - then click on my 'website'. i have photos from previous years etc there... still photos don't really do it justice though... this year i'm hoping to make a video, i have 16 actors confirmed... and tons of new stuff.
