Re: How did you spend your Summerween?
I've spent it under the sun of the Mediteranean... Sweating in a business suit in the middle of a heat wave  (I even posted a little on this forum from there!) I was looking at the structural integrity of some of these villas in Barcelona for a commercial partner, and I wasn't thrilled to meet ...

Re: Woman puts skeleton in passanger seat, gets surrounded by cops
Speaking of that vodka skull, I remember reading an article about how a forensics expert "rebuilt" a realistic face based on that skull... with a result that actually looked like a happily drunk Russian man  and don't pick on the poor American-Skeleton community like that, it's not th...

Re: Ghost Looking In Window
Who knows, maybe one of your uncles or someone in the region had the same idea as you had, just earlier on I'm willing to bet that most urban legends have started because someone had gullible friends, spooky ideas and too much free time;..

Re: 4th of July
As much as I love the 4th of July, I would love to visit Paris France during a Bastille Day celebration some day. I doubt I'll ever be able to come up with the money, but I saw video from it a few years back, and it seemed awesome. Of course I've been to light off fireworks at off times of the year...

Re: Woman puts skeleton in passanger seat, gets surrounded by cops
Add a little mechanical system to have the head bob up and down - like those small articulated hula dancer dolls - and you've got a killer car accessory  and even without mentioning the smell - which could be contained inside the car - someone with an actual human skeleton on hand would have be...

Re: New Member Introduction, #3
Wait, I missed that thread? Sorry, I've been here for some time and forgot to introduce myself... I'm Olivier from Belgium, and I live in Russia. Even in Europe, Hallowing is a thing - and it became a major one when I was a kid, more or less - but it isn't too popular where I live now due to, well, ...

Re: 4th of July
No 4th of July where I live, but my wife's French and we have the 14th of July, but it's still about red, white and blue, getting rid of crowned heads and fireworks as well, so I figured I can chime in  of course, food plays a good part of the celebration - we hust have bread, cheese and wine i...

Re: Zombie Ideas
Well, after all, how many games and movies about zombies did we have over the last decade? Of course, they made their way in the horror story universe, and now they're an universal icon. ... plus, throw some fake blood on old torn/stained/generically ruined clothes you find in your attic and boom, y...

It's down for me as well, I get an error message (it looks like one, at least) in an Asian language, and that's all.

Re: Zombie Ideas
I have an old military flak jacket that was shot at by a friend after he brought it from military service, and it's one of my go-to zombie costume items: it was already beaten up and outdated by the time my friend left (that's why he could bring it home, the ballistical protection was out of date an...

Re: Dusty Notebook
Oh, I clicked on the link to this thread thinking it would be about DIY creepy-looking notebooks that one could use as decoration or as a role playing game item for Halloween... so if you guys come up with good horror short stories and need something to write them on for the big day, here's wh...

Well, it makes sense after all, poor old Mickey can't do everything by himself! I wonder whether they'll add more Nightmare before Christmas characters to the mix, to improve the immersion...

Re: Whatcha eatin' right now?
I'm eating excessive amounts of work at home these days fortunately, I'm already smelling the rabbit cooking in the oven (it's dinner time here), it's not helping me concentrate, but at least I know I'll soon be free!
