Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

Only 11 days left. How are we all doing with our prep? I have pretty much everything out. I found this small projector at target, it was only 10 bucks and it flashes a skull on the wall. Just have to find a place to put that and we should be in business!

We'll be bbq'ing with family but I just got a coupon book from JoAnns, so I plan to head over there to get a few fall decor items! I'll probably get some more Autumn type things up in the next week or so. I try to wait until the end of Sept to get my halloween stuff out

Orange lights were my favorite decor I had when i lived in an apartment. The orange glow sets a mood and they take up pretty much no space. We put them in our archways but around the windows would be nice too.

Time flies! This summer really has flown by, only a couple more weeks or so until Labor Day and after that it's all systems go as far as I'm concerned. Starting to get my planning going for my decor this year! Everything is out in the craft stores.

We are under 100 days now! We just bought our first house and I have been dreaming about how I will get it set up for the big day. Crate and Barrel, while too expensive, has their fall stuff out on their website. Fun just to window shop!

We got our apartment decked out in mini pumpkins. We also put up some orange lights. That might be all we do since we are in an apartment. Carved pumpkins come right before the big day!

I hear that. I've been a lurker for a while, participate for a couple years (forgot my old password and created a new acct). But this past month it's hard to find actual conversation threads because they are being bombarded with headlines. I am totally for the occasional relevant or humorous article...

At my old office we could trick or treat from cube to cube. We would dress up and go around getting treats. People would have candy or baked goods. It was fun! We would also have cube decorating contests.

You could try molding some chicken wire into tube form and then paper mache. Wouldn't be great if it rains though. Link to some instructions for this, below
