Re: Witches vs. Zombies in Salem

I went to Salem years ago, and even their police have witches on their uniform patches. No joke. I think its kind of odd (stupid really, but odd sounds better) You have all those people executed. NONE of them were witches. They were innocent people killed by the state in a fit of paranoia and ignora...

1976. Burnt Offerings with Karen Black and Oliver Reed. Check it out. You'll get a jump, I promise. 1971. Blood on Satans Claw with Linda Hayden and Patrick Wymark. I was only 11 but I fell in love with Linda when she walked around in her birthday suit! OH!! And the scary parts were good too!...

Re: Halloween News?

Okay Spooks and Spookets, tonight is THE night. As your friendly local police officer, I'd like to remind you to keep an eye out for the little ones. If you're going to drink, either stay home or have a designated driver take the drinkers home. Make sure you if you're wearing anything that is flamma...

Re: Sneaking Off to Movies

I guess those of us who hit our teen years back in the 70s looked at things a bit different than y'all. We snuck into movies alright, but NOT the scary kind. Porno movie theaters were still around, and there was one that was notorious for letting underage kids in. Law said you had to be 18, but they...

Boy! Advice columns have changed a lot since Dear Abby!!! This lady handles Halloween etiquette. Saving the worms, and boob jobs! If this were MY column, my advise would have been as follows: 1)The reason the people across the street are REALLY angry is because they lack (pick one or more) the money...

Got to stay with Warren Zevon and Werewolves of London. Although Tubular Bells is a good one. I intended to use Tubular Bells as my entrance theme if I became a professional wrestler.     Lets not forgot Thriller by you know who. .....And Devil Woman by Cliff Richards.

Re: Black Hawk Down vs Titanic?

Black Hawk Down was a good movie. Like all movies it took some liberties with the truth. Mark Bowden didn't get the whole thing right in his book and the problems In Somalia have not changed, except US military involvement is now relegated to supply issues. American combat troops are not being used....

I remember the big hula-balew when Huey sued Ray. I thought Huey had more class than that. I actually lost a lot of respect for him because of that. Warrens been dead a few years now. I guess if the Ronnie Van Zant estate isn't going to sue Kid Rock, Warrens kids wont either. I've seen the video of ...

Re: The Witch's Grave Yard in the Back Waters Alabama

Washington and Lee has got to have one of the most beautiful campuses I've ever seen. The fact it is also where Lee is buried, brings the greatness of the man even closer to you if you're a student. My SATs were NO WHERE NEAR HIGH enough to try and apply there. Plus back then it was an all male scho...

Ted Nugent lives in Texas now. I think he has a ranch next to President Bush in Crawford. He still has a home here in Michigan though. I think he mainly lives in Texas now. Texas is a strong conservative state, while Michigan is slowly heading down that road. That is why he moved. Yea, I saw Anthon...

Has anyone seen Halloween II? A friend bought a copy, and maybe I'm wrong, but I could have sworn they cut some of it out? The doctor who is found in his office with a needle sticking in his eye. I thought it showed him being stuck in the eye, in the movie portion shown in the theater? Same with the...
