While I'm definitely looking forward to Autumn and the Halloween season, there's some Summer festivals I'm hoping to hit.

Things haven't been too bad here in the cornfield. More shake ups at work, but I'm still employed thankfully. The overtime is over. I miss the extra money but it's nice to have more time. I'm hoping to be around more, though. Getting the Halloween bug.

Apparently, it was pushed back by the Krampus movie he is releasing this year, which I am also looking forward to. I was always kind of ambivalent about these types of listing. Especially the ones the purported to sell entities bound to physical items, such as fairies or ghosts or werewolf spirits. Either you don't believe in these things and are duping people or you believe and you're binding a sentient entity ...

A local garden nursery puts on a Fall Festival around the Equinox. I'll be going to that this weekend. I'll also start Halloween decorating in earnest then as well. Got a few pieces out, but I'll be breaking out most of it then.

I love the Scare Godmother specials. I have both of them on DVD. You may want to try the original The Nightmare Before Christmas poem by Tim Burton. Likes: Scarecrows, werewolves (the more wolf-like style), reaper figures, Jack-o-Lanterns, full moon imagery, ravens. I like both whimsical and creepy . Not a big fan of gore, though. Dislikes: Don't care much for zombies or gore. Can't wait for exchange, love it every year. Thanks for organizing it...
