Zombie Walks?

Are any of you doing Zombie Walks?? Our city has done what they can to make it to where the production crew can't put it on. I guess their pissy last year that it coincided with Sarah Palin's visit...several zombies hung out and protested her. That's what I get for living in a red state I guess, lol...

Re: Halloween TOT-ers' Age Limit

I don't know that there is a set age limit. I know that we have told our kids that at 13 they won't be allowed to do it anymore. At that point it will be parties and helping with deco, maybe doing a haunted trail type thing on our property. When my oldest turns 13 her sis will be 11 and bro will be ...

Re: Is it just me????

I am totally cool with anyone dressing up and getting candy! When I worked at the mall, prior to my own children, I would hand candy out to anyone dressed up...including parents! My boss hated it but oh well. My husband now gives it to anyone dressed up. If he gets a snarky teen though he will deny ...

Is it just me????

I find myself getting annoyed with teenagers who are upset because their parents tell them they can't trick or treat anymore and they say " Halloween is about free candy". The age issue is relevant to the parent. I have my personal views on it but obviously parents feel differently and tha...

Re: Halloween candy

This is awesome!!! I love going to stores that specialize in nostalgia! There's a candy store just down the street from me that specializes in nostalgic candy. It never occurred to me to stop in at Hallowe'en time and see what they got. Sure has been a long time since I've worn a pair of wax fangs w...

Re: Make any Halloween purchases yet?

Hey....does Michael's still do their 40% off coupons? I used to get them sent to me via email but they aren't in there anymore, just ads. I would love to get some of those ghosts you mentioned! Yesterday I went to Halloween Unlimited and they would NOT allow me to video or take pics of my costume th...

Re: Halloween candy

My kids got all excited about the blood bags lol...I got mini vamps running around, what can I say? I personally stick to things like Indian Corn ( I like that better than Candy Corn) and mini chocolates myself. I think for Halloween party I might get some gross stuff for the kids so they can have s...

Mummy Help!!

So last year we made this mummy from foam board, newspaper, tea-stained sheets, and a styrofoam wig head. Unfortunatley my dog ate her up. We have the sheets and part of the head left (half the chin is missing lol). So I am trying to figure out how to make her this year where she is a bit more durab...
